Help change a child’s story. Join our dedicated team today.

We run 15 in-person shared reading projects across London. Each project thrives thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers. We need more passionate people to share the magic of books and the joy of reading directly in the homes of children who need our support.

Can’t commit to regular volunteering? Become a Team Doorstep Library Supporter by making a regular donation.

Make a monthly donation to fuel our work and help us plan for the future. As a valued supporter, you’ll receive an annual Impact Report, regular newsletters, and updates on our progress.

Team Doorstep Library is committed to sharing the power of literacy and the joy of reading in order to help children change their own stories for good. We couldn’t exist without you. Join us today!

Team Donate

“A fifth of children don’t own a book: a tragedy I feel very deeply. The volunteer hours didn’t work with my job, so I decided to donate instead” – Ben, Monthly Donor

Become part of Team Doorstep Library today, by committing to donating as little as £5 per month. It costs £300 to recruit, train and support one volunteer for a year so every little really does help.

Why not pledge to double your donation as part of our Big Give campaign in June? Every donation made will be doubled, allowing us to improve our projects even more. Sign up now to receive a reminder about the campaign when it is live.
