Children's Book Donations

We accept children’s book donations aimed at children up to 11 years old. Unfortunately, we cannot accept book in poor condition, textbooks, activity books that have been used, or foreign language books unless they are a dual-language English book.

For drop-off donations, our offices are based in Victoria, London. Please communicate with our Book Coordinator through the sign up form to arrange a drop-off time.

You can expect a reply from our part-time Book Coordinator within two weeks during term time. Unfortunately, during the school holidays, we cannot accept book donations as our Book Coordinator does not work during this time. However, she will endeavour to reply upon her return. We thank you for your patience.

At Doorstep Library, we work with volunteers to run weekly reading sessions with children living in disadvantaged areas of London. Our mission is to inspire a love of reading for pleasure.
