Community Fundraising

Families sitting around a tent listening to a book

Community fundraising is a great opportunity to bring local people together; building strong relationships, raising funds and increasing awareness to the cause you are supporting. Replacing feelings of isolation with a sense of belonging and community.

We rely on your support to bring the magic of books and reading into the homes of children across London and beyond. There are many ways that you can raise money for Doorstep Library in your local community. Why not create a local book club and have a read-a-thon? Ask members of the community to get their baking mittens on and host a bake sale or how about selling your old books? Whatever the fundraiser, we are here to support you every step of the way.

For more ideas, see our list below or contact our Fundraising & Partnerships Manager Ruth O’Malley at ruth@doorsteplibrary.org.uk.
