Ben studied the world’s best-selling book at university, with a BA in Biblical Studies and MLitt in Divinity. He particularly enjoyed studying the Bible as a piece of literature. Through his working and volunteering roles he has worked in communities in disadvantaged areas, with families affected by homelessness, substance misuse and food insecurity.
The focus of a lot of his roles has been building strong partnership networks with other charitable and statutory organisations, to provide more cohesive and effective support to our communities. He has spent the past three years at home looking after his two children, and reading together is an important and enjoyable part of family life. He’s excited to help Doorstep Library bring that joy of shared reading to other families across London.
Ben’s favourite children’s book is “The Book With No Pictures” by BJ Novak
