Home Reading Training

Dear Home Reading Volunteer,

We would like to invite you to start the training process for our Doorstep Library Home Reading Sessions. We are so excited to have you on board to deliver these sessions, which will enable us to reach even more families with tailored support! Below, you’ll find details of our Home Reading Volunteer Training, and next steps.

Our training consists of five video modules to watch. Some of the video modules have accompanying documents that you must read. After you finish watching the video modules, there is a quiz at the end to submit under ‘Home Reading Volunteer Training Questionnaire’. We appreciate that you may have questions after completing the video modules, so there is space at the end of the questionnaire where you can submit these, and a member of the Volunteer Engagement Team will be in touch. Overall, the video modules and questionnaire should take around an hour and a half hour to complete.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with the team at: volunteer@doorsteplibrary.org.uk.

Thank you very much for taking the time to complete the training.
