Amber Cann

Amber is the Project Leader for Hammersmith and Fulham.

She has a degree in Classical Civilisations as well as postgraduate degree in Museums and Galleries in Education. She has always loved reading from a young age and currently has a personal book collection of over 200 books which is still growing! She has a strong passion of advocating for education and access to improved health and well-being. Amber loves community work and has a background as a social prescriber with the NHS for 3 years and working with local communities to host different workshops and activities including coffee mornings and school workshops at the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology. Due to her passions for books and education she has also worked within the British Library’s learning team to facilitate workshops and activities for schools, families and community partners.

Her favourite children’s book is: the Horrible Histories Series, especially the Groovy Greeks and Rotten Romans by Terry Deary.
